Delighted with the full house at the Hall Center for the Humanities Celebration of Books yesterday. Next stop: New York City’s Drama Book Shop, where the American Theatre and Drama Society presents the sixth annual “The Brilliance of the American Theatre” reading series, featuring me, David Carlyon, and Dorothy Chansky. Thursday, March 24, at 6:00 pm.
Over the next 100 days, I’ll be talking about theatrical adaptations of the Bible in several different venues, starting with the Hall Center for the Humanities Celebration of Books on Thursday, March 10 and concluding with an appearance at the International Federation for Theatre Research conference in Stockholm in June.
